My name is Alexandra G. Forsberg I graduated with a BFA in Fashion Design, with a minor in Art History, from the Fashion Institute of Technology in May of 2019 with a 3.7 GPA. Being in the fashion industry and designing as been a dream of mine since I was about 8 years old. I started sewing lessons when I was about 13 years old and later on even made my Junior Prom dress, draping the pattern and all.
I am very driven and accomplish anything I put my mind to. When I have a goal, there is nothing that can get in my way. I am also very detail oriented while still maintaining my consistent and effective time management skills.
Within the last few years I have moved to Central Texas with my husband for a new beginning after falling in love with the area a few years prior.
Inspiration
I like to think of my design esthetic as edgy, with a classic twist. I tend to get most of my inspiration from nature and music. Even in my personal wardrobe I have an edgier, more rough style, and I think that comes out in my designs. However, I think that the individual pieces I create can be worn by anyone and can adapt to their personal ascetic.
My biggest influencers are just the people I am surrounded by at that point that I am designing. Anyone from family and friends to total strangers. I try to take it as a challenge to incorporate those people's style into my own and create something that will be more versatile and will be able to become a staple in different women's wardrobes.
